Meadowlark Prairies Outdoor Lab is 18 acres and made up of three distinct ecosystems: ponds, woods and prairies. The prairies wildflower area has a short 1/3 mile walking trail and a longer 8/10 mile trail. This nature area was originally established for K-12 students used for outdoor learning experience with teachers and parents. 
It is also open to the public to enjoy, relax, commune and experience peace and quiet and appreciate the sights and sounds of a quiet natural setting.
